BONEY FIELDS & THE BFB – blues, soul and funk energy in holiday concerts
This December, Kaunas Blues invites you to special holiday concerts. Boney Fields & The BFB bring to Kaunas and Vilnius a powerful, festive sound that combines blues, funk, soul and the New Orleans brass tradition. This is a concert where sitting still may be difficult — Boney Fields’ music is made not only for listening, but also for moving.
Boney Fields is an American trumpeter, vocalist and composer who has been performing for more than three decades, having begun his musical career in the Chicago blues tradition. He has played and toured with blues and soul greats including Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, James Cotton, Lucky Peterson, Koko Taylor and others. In his own music, American blues roots continually meet funk, soul and contemporary grooves. Boney stands out not only for his powerful trumpet sound, but also for his exceptional stage energy — his concerts have become true live music parties.
Boney Fields and The BFB are a great opportunity to end the year loudly, rhythmically and with a real dose of American blues.
