Talented Sax Gordon develops American R&B traditions by playing sax as no one else can. His style of playing is aggressive and emotional. That made him the main and most important player of this genre in the world. He fits perfectly with one of the best modern blues singers, the owner of voice of the extraordinary power Toni Lynn Washington.

Toni Lynn Washington (real name Dorothy Kearns) is USA blues, R&B, jazz singer and song writer. This year she will celebrate the glorious 80-year birthday. She is a blues queen from Boston. Her experience on stage is long and has many legends. She was nominated for “Blues Music Award” for seven times. She won “Boston Blues festival” award for her whole life achievement in 1999. Her career is continuing for four decades and it is related to history of R&B. She has performed with grand’s of the genre like Jackie Wilson, duo Sam and Dave and many others.

The singer started to sing in school and church choirs. Later on as she still was underage she shook up night clubs of Boston. She formed a band “Toni Washington Band” together with Bruce Bears in 1992. Soon enough band got name of one of the strongest local band of blues and R&B. “Blues and Midnight” (1995) is a debut album of the artist. This album was received with enthusiasm. It won two “W.C. Handy Awards” nominations, in the awards of “NAIRD Awards” won a name of “Soul Album of the Year”. That is how the artist won her place among female artist elite. The record became a sensation in national arena. Toni Lynn Washington made it to the center of attention and was recognized as one of the biggest vocal treasures on blues stage.

Sax Gordon (real name Gordon Beadle) is from Detroit (USA). He is one of the brightest and one of the best sax players in the world. He has years of experience and has unmatched energy. He revives blues, sensual ballads, soul, and swing music and gives life to American R&B traditions. Sax Gordons sax is extremely fearless, expressive and rock like and balances on the edge of wonderful chaos.

Sax Gordon is one of the most wanted sax players in his field – in recording studios, in the clubs, in concert halls all over the world. He can be heard in hundreds of CDs together with classical blues, jazz and R&B performers: Kim Wilson, Bryan Lee, Paul Oscher, Jerry Portnoy, Watermelon Slim, Ron Levy, David Maxwell and many others. He has unusual ability to fiddle with the style. That ability granted him a place as a solo player in records with legends like Champion Jack Dupree, Jimmy McGriff, Charles Brown, Pinetop Perkins, Billy Boy Arnold and Rosco Gordon.

He has performed with legends like Duke Robillard, Matt “Guitar” Murphy, Jay McShann, Jimmy Witherspoon, Luther “Guitar Jr.“ Johnson, “Roomful of Blues“, Junior Watson, John Hammond, Sherman Robertson, Toni Lynn Washington, Solomon Burke and many others.

He has realeased five solo albums “Have Horn Will Travel” (1998), “You Knock Me Out” (2000), “Live at the Sax Blast” (2004), “SHOWTIME!” (2013), “In The Wee Small Hours” (2014). Sax Gordon’s glory shelf is full of awards: “Trophees France Blues” (1998 and 2005), “W. C. Handy Blues Award” (2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005), “Blues Foundation Blues Award” (2006, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015).
